Coordination of Benefits (COB)

Rules that determine the order in which multiple health plans pay so total payment does not exceed the loss.

When a person is covered by more than one plan, COB provisions set which plan is primary and which is secondary, preventing the insured from collecting more than 100% of the actual expense.

This is one of hundreds of tested concepts.

Lhexam drills coordination of benefits (cob) and the rest of the health material in your state's exam format, with an AI tutor on every wrong answer.
