Health Savings Account (HSA)
A tax-advantaged account paired with a high-deductible health plan, used for qualified medical expenses.
An HSA offers a triple tax advantage: contributions are deductible, growth is tax-deferred, and qualified withdrawals are tax-free (IRC §223). It must be paired with an HDHP. Funds roll over year to year and are portable.
